Just finished a painting called Mr. September, of actor Nico Mirallegro. I guess I felt compelled to paint it when I saw his page of the Hollyoaks Hunks calendar, for September 2010. He is the only one smiling. It's a naughty smile which adds extra allure to his photo. It just had to be done in oils as well.

It has taken about a fortnight do do and kept me up fairly late on several occasions. I am hoping that Nico will see it as he is following me on twitter now, and he seems to like my drawings of him, as he collects them in his MySpace tagged photos album.

It was good fun to do an oil painting again after several years of not doing any. :)

it's one of 30stm's (many) logos
there are several interpretations
one is that itmeans 30stm:
₪ - 2 intertwined '3's
ø - a clock pointing backwards (seconds)
||| - inverted it is the roman numeral for 2
·o. - mars with it's two moons
some thing that the first symbol also deliberately has the name leto in it if you follow the lines


The second explanation is that they symbolize each of the four terrestrial planets.

The first symbol is two intertwined "M's" which could stand for Mercury.
The second symbol looks like it is rotating in the opposite direction and Venus rotates in the opposite direction of all the terrestrial planets.
The third symbol is the roman numeral three which stands for Earth, the third planet from the sun.
The fourth symbol is Mars. The two dots represent both of Mars's moons Phobos an Deimos.

the band has't xconfirmed either, they're all for different inpterpretations ^_^
